Our excellent team of round-the-clock large animal vets is at the forefront of livestock practice. We are proactive and forward thinking, using up-to-date equipment and methods.
On call 24 hours a day
With two vets on call every night we can respond to farm emergencies quickly. We always provide two vets for bovine caesarians. We offer a full ambulatory and emergency service and also carry out some procedures at the practice.
Led by a cattle specialist
Our team is led by our vet, Helen Cockerill. She holds a Diploma in Bovine Reproduction and has completed a 3 year placement at the University of Liverpool at their farm animal practice and referral centre. Helen is fully qualified to carry out Bull Breeding Examinations and has a keen interest in Suckler Herd Fertility.
