FREE PUPPY PARTIES

Why: These events, run by our head nurse Anna, are a brilliant way for your puppy to get used to other dogs and humans. Dogs are happier to see us if they've had a previous visit where they didn't have a jab or other nasty surprise. This reduces stress for everyone - your puppy, you and us!

When: On a Saturday between 12.30pm -1.30pm. Please ask about the next date.

Who can come: The whole family, including the kids!

What happens: Each party usually has around 7 puppies and their families visit us. We will show your “behind the scenes” on a tour of the practice, including theatre and the kennel room (You will see where they would be kennelled and treated should you ever need to leave them with us.)

One of our vets usually presents an informal question and answer session, allowing you to pick the brains of our veterinary team and share your experiences with other owners, about diet, exercise, neutering, worm and flea treatments.

We will demonstrate a 'mock vet check' which shows you how to examine your pet including paws and mouth. You can also ask other questions and hear other owners' experiences. Following this your puppy is allowed play time in the secure reception to help socialise and have fun!
